Water damage, rebooting after 3 secs.

Hello,

I threw my ZTE Maven into a bucket to see if it was waterproof.

It wasn't.

So, the backlight started flickering, I unplugged the battery and saw that the backlight connector/pads on the socket were burnt. (The backlights work now) Cleaned everything with 98% isopropyl and I thought it was working, but the ZTE boot logo goes onto the screen and after 3 secs it reboots. Tried to power up with no battery, only a solid charge light comes on. Please help!

Update: now only a solid charge light comes on. Other than that, the phone is showing NSOL.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

just buy another phone, cheap phones like this aren't worth it to troubleshoot waterdamage because of limited documentation
