Screen wont come on after fixing wobbly screen!

I followed the instructions to fix wobbly screen. Everything worked well. But when I switched the macbook on, i hear it startup but the screen stays blank. Could I have knocked something? Anyone have any ideas of what I should check?

Is just the backlight down or whole display?

The whole display is down.

So I followed this......

MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2010 LCD Replacement

....to link 16. Then tightened the loose screws and put it all back together.

Have you attempted to connect it to an external monitor yet? That could at least give you a starting point as to where the issue might be.

Options

Go back to step #8 and reseat the display data cable, examine the connector and the slot. Make sure the little lock tab that hold it in place will throw down. Hook it up to an external monitor to verify that the GPU is putting out a signal.
