Should I try Power supply board or main board on led tv?
LED tv, started with speakers, turn on tv get normal sound for about 3 min then an unbearably loud static noise. About a month later the screen went black, turn the tv on good picture for a couple min then black. A week later doesnt turn on at all and just slowly blinks power light. I seriously doubteach component just failed back to back. What do ya think? Power supply board or main board? Didnt notice any bad capacitors...its a 600$ tv might as well try a 40$ board...
Is this a good question?

@jorricha any pattern to this " just slowly blinks power light"? What model is your Vizio?

@oldturkey03
Vizio m471i-a2
As far as "blink" if i plug it in without pressing the power button the white power light slowly goes from off to dim to fully lit to dim to off over & over in about a 5 second cycle
Thanks

Just some more info...When the loud static noise started at the beginning of all of this, i hooked up a soundbar to audio out and the sound came through there as well.

@jorricha any chance you can take a couple of good images of your boards and post those with your question? Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. It'll allow us to see what you see.

@oldturkey03 Hope that helps, looking @ it again the tops of the 2 on the main board "2n 470 25a" seem to be protruding a little. The tops of all the caps on the power supply are flat.
