darrellbenford it is possible that your laser is either dirty or has failed. You could try a commercially available lens clean, i.e. Maxell makes a brushless / dry Blue-Ray/HD-DVD cleaner. Or you could try this. If none of that works, consider changing the laser assembly or the drive itself. Remember that you must replace the board on the new drive with the one from your old drive since they are paired with your console. If nothing else, try to contact the game console guru
