Scratched Nikon Coolpix L810 Camera Lens

I ran my camera up against a stone wall and sustained a scratch to it that is visible through the view finder. Is this part replaceable and if so, where can I purchase and how do you put it on. Thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

HI, Nikons are the most difficult cameras for self repair when it comes to lenses but it is possible. You will not be able to purchase the lens glass directly but you can purchase a lens assembly for around $30. You will have to teardown your entire camera to get to the lens assembly. If you are patient and good handling small parts i'm sure you can do it. Check Amazon / Ebay / Ecrater they have many parts available for the L810 but make sure you get instructions before you attempt the repair because most Nikon cameras require some solder work to get to the heart of the camera. A scratched glass pretty much renders the camera useless. I may have a teardown guide i can put up if you decide to go thru with this.
