Where/s the IR receiver?

I didn't see a hi-res image of the front of the Apple TV. Where's the IR receiver, and how does it connect to the logic board?

After consulting one of our great guide makers, the best picture of the receiver is on step 12 of the teardown. The lower left corner, surrounded by surface solder.
