Can I use early 2015's battery on a late 2013 model?

I'd like to know if is it possible to use early 2015's battery on a late 2013 model, and if anyone already did it

They look similar but far from identical. Look at the width of the outer modules.

have installed A1582 battery to MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Late 2013

- no issue, and hold a charge

tried it, it seems to be OK but when you stress CPU and GPU when on battery only (no charger) than it tends to shutdown (hard)

The answer is *almost* helpful. It does 15" for 2015 and 13" for 2013. But what about compatability between 2013 and 2015 15" ? In 2017, Apple replaced the battery in my late-2013 15" Retina, and 18 months later that battery started swelling a little - now swollen enough to pop the flap at the back hinge.

i just install A1493 Battery To Macbook Pro 13 Retina 2015 Was No Problem Charging And Discharging

Original Battery Was A1582

so A1493 and A1582 Compatible
