lcd doesn't show anything, should I replace it?

hi,

my iphone 3g has a cracked glass and the lcd doesn't show anything and doesn't light up. the digitizer still works though. should i replace the lcd or do i have to replace something else?

LCD replacement should be all you need if you can live with a cracked screen
