Does little spot of corrosion require need for action?

My laptop suffered from a little water spill 2 days ago. Wrongly, i turned it on, but suprisgingly it worked. I assumed that the water spill just happened externally. However, the next morning, after half an hour of working on it, the laptop freezed and I could not start it anymore. I opened the device and removed the water that I found: Most of it was on protective foils for the two RAM slots and just a few drops on the motherboard itself. I wiped the water away, let the device dry and today it works again.

However, i found a little white spot, which to me appears to be corrosion. But i might be wrong on that as well (see image).

Is there a need of action to remove it? Is it even a result of the spillage? The spot is near the area where i removed the water, but only 10 hours passed between the spill and the picture.

Will it spread and eventually cause problems in the long run? If so, i would try to remove it carfefully with a little bit of 99% alcohl in combination with a toothbrush and let it dry for 2 days. Otherwise I would just leave it like that and not casue new sources of error as everything appears to be working perftly fine currently, at least for one hour of testing today.

Whats your expert opinon on this? Thanks in advance for any advice.
