iPhone 4 with iPhone 4s lcd

I understand they are the same connectors so it will work but does anyone have any tips on how to adjust the metal border pieces so they sit in the same spot the iPhone 4 lcd has them

@kenji here is a quote from Is the display the same for the 4 and 4s? "The connectors are the same for the digitizer and LCD and the screen will function properly between the models but the parts are physically different and will not fit either way." Read some more about it Front digitizer+lcd unit and the back panel compatible with iPhone 4S? and iPhone 4 screen assembly v iPhone 4s. Right now I am saying that it will not fit, unless heavily modified. you'll have a much higher success rate if you replace it with the right display.

Well, he's right. It would be best to get the correct part. I've modified several of those display assemblies, to fit the current model phone. I just tear off the brackets on the side and use adhesive to hold it to the frame. You can use superglue, but I find it looks bad
