What is this mystery spring from inside my optical drive?

I opened up my ps4's optical drive and a small spring popped out as I removed it's case. Any ideas what it may be from and how to replace it?

Yes, that's the spring for the manual eject screw. The following link will show you where it goes. Anyone got ANY idea where this goes

Hi, i had this problem as well, but when i was going to insert the piece, the Spring flew, and i Lost it.

I put the black piece on place, but the drive doesn't accept disks at all...

Can you help me please.

Hi mate this is because the spring is used to accept the disk the spring is what allows for the mechanism to open when the spring is not there it’s stays closed so that PS4 thinks there is a disk within the drive as to why it won’t accept or read any of the disks
