Data showing is divided display?

A few months ago one morning i found my dell laptop not opening (no power). I took it to a local shop and after through checking they told me that a mild explosion or something occurred inside it and burnt down some chips. They finally able to turn the power on but no display was showing as the display ribbon was also damaged and could not find a new one to replace. It was running ok with an external display. Then after couple of days display ribbon was found and replaced with the damaged one. Then it resulted that the main display panel was also damaged.

Now the problem is when they changed with a 14" new display and powered on, it showed a grey power skin but no data comes. Again when they changed with another panel it showed data but 4 unequal divisions. They changed about 7 or 8 different display panel and found out that peculiar result. No body can found out what exactly was going on. Most of 14" displays it showed grey skin where as other size display shows divided data.

Please can anybody knows how to solve it. Cuz whole the system is now useless becoz of this. Thanks in advance.

@syeed if it continues to display properly on an external monitor then you know it is your LCD circuitry and not the GPU in your system. Post some images of what you see with your question. It would also be good if you good get some images from the inside of your computer to see what was repaired. For that use this guide. It could also be from an incompatible display panel or display cable. IF you have part numbers for those, let us know.
