Why are there lines on the screen of my iPhone

Dropped my phone on the floor and then a few minutes later numerous white and black lines appeared on my screen. One side of the phone works but the other side seems to be completely dead! Please leave any possible solutions!

When you dropped it the lcd most likely broke I would recommend taking it to a phone repair shop

But this is ifixit, you don't take things to a repair shop when you have ifixit, lol.

it could be partly disconnected(not as likely) or screen has been damaged(likely)

You said that the symptoms started a few minutes after you dropped it, I don't think that the LCD is cracked. Maybe the LCD connector got partially disconnected.

On step 16, re-seat the connectors.
