What's the difference between various power supplies for the PS4?
I have a PS4, model number CUH-1215A, that won't turn on. I know why, but i don't know if other models of power supply will work ?
Is this a good question?

Always get the matching power supply. Some will have a different number of pins and some only support up to a certain amount of wattage.

How do I figure the matching power supply and what do you mean by pin I have a model CUH 10001A
While I have not made an extensive examination of the actual power supply circuits, I do know that the physical configuration of the power supply bricks are different. This is a physical shape issue more so than a circuit issue. Most of the supplies have the same 2 pin sockets that connect when you insert the supply as well as the multi-pin connector that goes onto the side. Note however that the shape of the housing is different for different models.
The bottom line is that you need to replace a supply with the same "model" otherwise it won't fit into the PS4. The internal circuitry is similar and may provide more or less overall current for different models. They are made different shapes to insure that the proper supply for that model is used.
