white bars at the top of my screen, touch response zero

My phone fell from my hand yesterday while dosed of on the couch. But the moment i picked it up and unlocked it i found that there were was a line of white blocks on the top of my screen and only that portion of the screen is not responding to the touch. Rest the screen in working properly and the touch is all good.

I would like to ask that,

1.Is it a serious issue for my phone?

2. Will the screen need to be replaced or the connector between screen and the logic board be reconnected again?

3. Any other solution to the problem shall be highly appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Try whacking the back of the top right corner on your hand. Worth a try.

That might work but only if the Digitizer connector is loosely plugged into the logic board. Your best bet is to reseat the front display connectors.
