Took my phone apart and now no selfie camera and no sound.

I took my phone apart to install this.

So.....I couldn't get the thing to light up... and now i have no selfie camera and can't hear anything through the ear piece. I can only communicate through the speaker.:(

I see a small tear on the #1 cable (see photo) ... could that cause the camera and sound problem? If not, could anyone direct me to where the problem could be?

Try returning it to its original condition and see if it works . And yes if the cable is torn it probably does have something to do with your problem The cable you are describing is the front-facing camera and earpiece speaker cable

This is the necessary part to fix your cable problem
