Touch ID cristal separated from sensor

My Touch ID broke, can it be fixed?cristal and metal ring separated from home button

Does the touch ID work at all now with it plugged in? If not then you will have to replace the home button and not have touch ID unfortunately.

You can test touch ID by placing finger on the black part I think.

I believe not.

The sensor is permanently bonded to the crystal, the cable stud is somehow bonded to the back of the sensor, either through contact pads or solder/wire bonding.

If it is solder/wire bonding, you've destroyed it already.
