Won't turn on after drop

A customer brought me their iPhone 6(model a1549). They claim to have dropped it and after that it wouldn't turn on or charge. I got a replacement display and put it in, but it still won't boot or charge. When I plug it into my desktop iTunes doesn't even recognize it. Got any suggestions?

Usually the charging IC chip. Have you tried a known good working charged iPhone 6 battery to see if it turns on? If it turns on successfully, try plugging in a charger. If it doesn't charge then it's probably the charging IC chip.

Note that you should check the charger port for any dust blockage as it may stop the lightning cable from plugging into the port fully.

Usually they are cleaned with tweezers, toothpick or some equivalent tool.
