Can SSD be added to eMMC laptop?

This laptop apparently has eMMC storage.

But the internal layout has empty space and connector for SSD hard drive.

Looks exactly like this.

But the hard drive space and connector are empty.

Can this be done?

If not, anyone interested in an unused Samsung 250mb SSD? ha ha

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Nice tutorial, but this is not the model 3-1130 stated in the question. The 3-1130 does not have an existing hard drive with a motherboard connector.

Yes - almost.

Mine (whatever model it is) has an empty space for a hard drive and a socket on the MB for a connector lead to an SSD.

I bought the missing lead and everything plugs in nicely, but the SSD is not recognized.

Hence my question....

My brother has a hard drive version and I have the emmc version. I plug his hard drive in my slot and it booted fine from the hard drive.
