logic board will not put solder on pins

So i was trying to put new fpc in the logic board it wouldn't drop into the solder than i tried making the solder smooth and it looks like i took the pin off and now it won't have solder in some areas. Any idea how i can fix this myself?

use solder braid, clean up the area . add flux then reapply your solder


a picture is worth a thousand words but it sounds like you may have torn a pad off of it. Using solder braid might aggravate this situation but you need to clean up the other pads to have something to solder to. Flux is your friend and don't touch that FPC connector with an iron or it'll melt something close to instantly.
