Specifications of Hard Drive/SSD

I am going to replace my harddrive in my macbook but i see that the ssd on this site for sale are a little to expensive for me and i have found some cheaper ones. Can some one tell me what the specifications are for the hard drive inside the macbook pro 13. The two major things are what is the connector type, is it 44 pin and what is the interface type. Thanks

Use a standard SATA 2.5" wide x 9.5mm tall drive.

MLC or SLC is according to which drive you pick. The MLC will be cheaper and slower. The connection is a standard SATA. It does not matter if it is SATA I or II. USB and PATA have nothing to do with this. This is where a little bit of knowledge hurts you. You're over thinking this. It's just not that complicated.

The drive you mentioned in your redundant question will work just fine in your Mac, see the specs, please stay with one question:

Its not compatible with 12.5mm? The 15" is.

Yes, I believe the 12.5 will work in all unibodies.
