Grey/Blue Screen, horizontal lines, still functional

Hello, just purchased a MacBook Air 13" 2011. My screen intermittently goes grey/blue with lines but still functions. The situation is becoming more and more frequent with less normal visuals that the screen should show.

Also, movement of the screen can knock it in and out of the color issue.

My iSight camera also does not function, not sure if it's the camera or possibly cable (believe it's tied into LVDS cable)?

Is it safe to say this is LVDS cable? I've replaced them before but I want to verify this is the issue before I go and buy the part.

Thanks for any help!!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Yes it does signs like the LCD cable, those cables can wear out and create shorts over time. Just one of the common problems you'll experience when owning a laptop.

My 2011 MAB does the same -- can the LCD cable be replaced or is it integrated into the LCD?
