How unlock Sony Vaio BIOS

Hi. I have a notebook Sony Vaio pcg-91311l (vpcej14fx). The user set password on BIOS and forgot it. How can I reset it?

I have tried:

1. Take away the battery for 30 minutes.

2. Sony support want the documents which doesn't present

@s0rt3r To reset the bios on most sony vaios you need to disconnect the cmos battery . You need to tear the machine down to the motherboard and locate the battery its usually green and looks like to small round batteries taped together kinda like a figure 8 theres a lead coming off the battery that needs to be disconnected black and red wires. After disconnecting do a static discharge to remove any residual power that could still be in the board . Remove the battery and any power which you should have done before starting then hold down the power button for 60 seconds. I like to leave the computer sit for an hour or two before putting it back together reconnect the bios battery and reassemble the computer. This should fix your bios problem

For Sony laptops is only one way to remove password, you need to have otp pasword,
