Why isn't my Amazon game controller charging?
I plugged in the cable but the controller isn't charging

The Amazon Fire Game Controller is not compatible with any charging cables and is only powered by the use of AA batteries. The batteries must be placed with both negative ends. in the controller pack, facing the top of the controller Further problems are explained in the Amazon Fire Game Controller Troubleshooting page.

Yes it is powered by AA batteries and intelligent power management with auto-sleep provides up to 55 hours of game play on the included AA batteries generally.
