You can do it. You need to be a patient person with this one though! It's rated difficult for a reason. You'll also need to buy the LCD + digitiser as they are stuck together. If you go to repair icon at top of this page, select iPhone 2g you'll see all the repairs. 3g and 3gs parts are not compatible with your phone and the guide for their screen is very different. Good luck
