I'm thinking the headphone jack is busted. I think unplugging the charger port ribbon cable should stop the phone from routing the audio to the headphone jack.
Follow this guide to unplug headphone jack cable:
iPhone 6 Plus Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack Cable Replacement
If it defaults back to the loudspeaker which is unplugged earphones then the headphone jack is probably faulty and the 'iPhone 6 Plus Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack' probably needs to be replaced.
