No display after repairs

I repaired my iPhone 3G and my display won't come on.

Repairs: New dock station;

New ribbon;

Is their a way to test point power comin in so I know if the telephone is at least powered up to the main board and/or screen?

try connecting to itunes, if vibrates on power supply , recognised by itunes then could be a display issue (check cables 1-3 are on right)

otherwise check connector 4 for dock and screw next to don't remove sticker which makes contact with battery.
