i phone 5 dropped and now slide to unlock wont work tried re boot no good there is also a line on right side of screen and a lot of square boxes on the bottom of screen is it lost or is there a fix”

You could try to open the phone open to make sure none of the connectors popped off during the fall. But based on what you said I'm thinking you may have damaged the LCD, so you will need a new screen. The iPhone 5c is a pretty easy phone to repair if you follow the guides and go slow
