Very weak Wifi, but excellent Wifi when open the front panel

iphone6 can only connect to the 5G WIFI in the same room. But when I open the front panel the iphone6 works well.

And there is a crack at the bottom near 3.5mm jack.

If closing the phone gives worse WIFI than when it's open, then you may have left one of the antenna cables disconnected when you disassembled the phone perhaps..? Have you tried testing your WIFI when not touching the phone at all? (Sitting it on a table, etc )

Just some extra information. You have TWO antenna cables. One at the bottom of the logic board, near the main speaker. The other is on the underside of the logic board at the top left. The one that handles your Wifi I believe is at the top.

iPhone 6 Rear Case Replacement

Check everything from step 27-31, then the double-L shaped RF bridge cable on the back of the logic board.

How did you solve the problem?

My iphone has exactly the same problem. The Wifi gets worse when I push the left upper corner of the screen.

I also have a damage next to the adudiojack.
