My Wii Remote won't reset

My Wii Remote won’t reset after a power outage. I unplugged it from the wall, let it sit for 2 minutes, reset the controller by the faceplate for 15 seconds, reset the remote by the batteries 'red button' and nothing, what now? Thanks!
