you need to desolder all the legs on the small metal plate covering sim reader, then desolder the sim reader itself.
is it possible you need to just lift the small gold prongs on the sim reader? sometimes they get flattened when sim is inserted

once you pull the logic board out of the phone you have to desolder the old one and resolder the new one. i don't believe there are any instructions on that. and if you're not up to the task get in touch with us. info@applepierepair.com
