Can the black plastic top cover (the one you pull down to start the brewing process) be replaced?

lcrooks4191 yes you can. Check this guide up to step 4. Now to get the part, you'll have to check for used once since Keurig apparently does not like to sell it to consumers:-). Check on places like this.
