battery replaced and the “home” button and microphone doesn't works

Hello!

I substituted the battery of an Iphone 5S: I followed the

instructions of the iFixit guide with great care, as I am used to, but

when I have turned on the device I realized “home” button and

microphone do not work anymore (but the touchID does!).

I tried to disassemble the device again to check if the connectors

were correctly placed and i could not find anyting wrong.

Can youadvise me about something to try to solve this problem?

Likely you've just placed the plate for the home button on upside down. As for the microphone, I would guess you damaged the Lightning dock, while doing the repair

Did you remove dock during repair? If not this can be motherboard damage
