iPhone 3G itunes error 1015 broken home button

Hello i got an iphone 3g from a friend that tried to wipe data/factory reset his phone and his phone died which ended up the phone being stuck in recovery mode,the phone is seen by itunes and when i restore it i get error 1015 which means it was jailbroken and propably has an ipad baseband,.now my question is what do i do ,i cant get intu dfu as home button is not working,tiny umbrella sees the phone but dosent give the option to kick out of recovery,other tools failed kicking it out and redsn0w crashes when i try doing ipsw dfu ...is the iphone gone for good?

No, because you can always get the home button repaired :). Are you able to boot DFU or Recovery mode at all? I used to use RecBoot a long time ago to force boot recovery mode but I don't think it works anymore or I don't remember how I got it working.

I have tried a lot of timesto enter dfu but nothing works,the home button was repleaced and didnt help either,it is stuck on recovery mdoe

I managed to get thehome button to work(tested on another iphone 3g butwhen i try getting into dfu the iphone just turns on and goes back into recovery...any ideas?
