How to bypass the power button on MacBook Pro 2014 Mid

My son spilled a little bit of coke on my laptop and then it completely died and wasnt able to start so I went to an apple care store and then they kept it 4 days to dry and then they got it working and it was working fine and I checked the power on button at the service center too and it worked fine at that time.

But after being all happy about it for spending only $75 to fix this suddenly it stopped working again and now it wouldnt on power or my Megasafe power cable light doesnt flash. This is exactly what happened when cocacola spilled.

Now for the time being I would like to jump start this by bypassing the power button. I cant seem to locate the keyboard connector or the Power On Pads.

Why are you convinced the problem is a bad power button? Its not uncommon for the keyboard to fail in liquid damage but its not a given either. You may have other problems (problems that the Apple store will NOT fix, save yourself trouble and money and take it to a competent repair shop instead, Apple is in sales and don't do true repair, they will tell you to replace the device)

A bad keyboard will also cause the device to not boot (which is ignorant from Apples design standpoint, other laptops are designed better) so unplugging the keyboard has been known to get one to boot IF that is all that is wrong with it. I assure you, the Apple store did NOT clean the soda out of your macbook at least not properly, you may still have problems on the motherboard for example that because Apple is negligent and calls setting a laptop out to dry "repair" further damage may have been caused as a result.

If what you're wanting to do is unplug the keyboard, its the wider of the two ribbon cables at the middle of the bottom of the motherboard. Your picture is what I'd call upside down. I'd suggest you have the computer repaired properly, but if they keyboard is all that is wrong, unplugging it and plugging in your magsafe charger should prompt the macbook to boot.
