I dropped my tablet, it won't turn on now

I dropped my tablet from like 6 inches off the ground and now it will not turn on unless I have it on the charger. When it is on the charger a battery with a loading symbol pops up for like 3 seconds and then turn off and it will turn on and off again. It keeps doing this while it is on the charger. I need my tablet to be back up, it is the only device I have now. Please help me.
