Touch screen don't work anymore

The touch screen of my 1st gen iphone partially don't work anymore. I mean, it works in the up side of the phone but it don't in the down side of the phone so I can turn it off but I can't slide the unlock slider. It must be an inside hardware problem, can you help me to fix it?
