Check the following:

  1. Autofocus might be switched off. On the left side of the lens barrel, there's a small switch with two positions, marked AF and MF. Make sure the switch is set to AF. Note that when the switch is set to AF, normally speaking the camera refuses to take a photo if it can't lock focus.
  2. Image Stabilization might be switched off. When you take pictures indoors without flash, shutter speed may be slow enough that any camera shake becomes visible as blur. The kit lens that comes with this camera has IS built in. It doesn't do miracles, but pics with shutter speeds as slow as 1/8 (depends a bit on how many coffees you had) come out sharp without having to use a tripod. The IS is controlled by a switch on the lens barrel, next to the AF switch. Make sure it is set to ON.

I have a similar problem, I've tried all those options and even replace the lens but I still have blurry pictures. Seem the problem is coming from the camera.

Is the auto focus turned off or the shutter speed preset to a slower speed than it needs to be (auto mode is off) or is the aperture preset?

Hi, I have Canon eos 100d and everything was great till yesterday. In one section of a picture it is blury, and I am afraid that I damaged the lenses or something. What that could be?

I have a Rebel T5 and can attest to the blurred image issue. I bought the camera when in university several years ago and was disappointed with its focusing capabilities. The camera performs poorly in anything that isn't broad daylight. Even when using a tripod, the timer, and adjusting the various camera settings, it didn't change. I find my images retain a soft edge when blown up to maximum size on the computer. I just don't think this particular model with the supplied lens is capable of producing a crisp image. That said, I'm burned by the experience and likely won't ever buy a DSLR again. It's not worth the hassle.
