Is it possible to unblock an iPhone 6 - IMEI unblocking

Hello,

I was wondering if it is at all possible to unblock a IMEI locked phone. Ive got a friend that broke his phone recently. He claimed int against the insurance, and they locked it. The cellular and wifi now doesn't work. Is it possible to now unlock this phone. Ive read that jailbreaking can be useless, and theres a company that'll do it for a fee. They claim its an instant unlock, but I'm a bit weary as it costs $50.

The company is called 'Keys2iPhone.com'.

Has anyone used this site, does it work, are there any other alternatives?

Please note; this is a forum question in regards of my friends phone

The only way the phone will be blacklisted (in my experience with AT&T and T-Mobile) is that it will only be blacklisted if the device was reported stolen.

If possible, your friend would need to report that he found the phone back to the carrier, and in doing so, (assuming insurance already gave you a phone), you would need to return the old (broken) phone back to them.

Third parties may be able to solve your issue to un-blacklisting, but there is no guarantee.
