iPhone 6 Plus touch screen issues - replaced screen as well

Hi,

I have an iPhone 6 plus i replaced the back on as it had bent a little.

The phone worked fine for a while and I had removed the screen multiple times to clean camera lens and replace it etc.

Then the touch screen cable wouldn't click down as well and I started getting a couple of lines on the same spot intermittently and the digitizer became erratic and wouldn't work where the 2 lines were.

I replaced the screen and am still having ghost touch issues. What gives?

I had sent off the screen to someone to replace the digitizer FPC connector and he said that there was continuity on all pins and it was all in perfect condition

If the connector is in good working condition, then I would guess the display is the culprit. Where did you purchase the display from?

It is ghosts touching in the same areas the lines used to occur on the old screen... I presume it's possible that the pins are slightly damaged on the motherboard?

I have heard the touch ic chip can also become faulty but wouldn't it just stop working completely?
