Hi there,

i got a completely working phone but there is always thiss ONE little guy who ruins the party.

my problem is the connector just "disappeared" and i'm left with the middle pin and the cable. Since i couldnt find a replacement connector -

is there any way to fix/solder this myself?

do i need GND here? would it be enough to just solder and connect the signal pin in the middle?

any advice is appreciated

thanks!

looks like you have a pad to solder to on the logic board so flux it and carefully solder the connector to the solder pad making sure to not use to much solder and make a mess of the surrounding connectors.
