Newer logic board in a 2010 MacBook Pro

Hi guy's,

I was wondering is it possible to install a newer logic board and processor in my 2010 Macbook pro 13" body.

Both the MacBook Pro's are identical in size. I'll really appreciate any help I can get with this.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Here is the two systems that make up this series: MacBookPro7,1.

The 2.66 GHz model is the faster. But, the clock rate alone doesn't tell the whole story. More often its the amount of RAM and the speed & size of the HD storage (going with either a SSHD or SSD) that makes a bigger difference.

Instead of going for such a small clock speed jump (2.4 to 2.66) how about getting more with less effort by upgrading the RAM and storage?
