iMac will not boot up

I have a 27" iMac EMC 2429. It will not start. It not not attempt to at all. I have tried the SMC reset process. Are there any ways to test the power supply before replacing it? I have it removed currently.

What were the diagnostic LEDs telling you before you removed the power supply?

Sorry for not adding that, just LED 1 is illuminated. No response or change when power button is pressed.
