working fine but cracked screen

My Oppo R7kf's cracked 2 or 3 months after purchase, it was hit by a volleyball. Now it still works fine, but it lost it's former glory due to its cracked surface, I considered doing nothing about it but then the front cam started to get blurred and there's like these reflections or refractions of the light that disturbs the resulting photo. And it's not working for me. I sent it to my sister who bought the phone for me, so she can bring it to the Oppo Service Center or wherever she bought it I guess, to have it repaired. They told her it would only take a week, but it's been months and I still don't have my phone. Does it normally take that long to repair a cracked screen? I'm getting anxious. Should I be, or am I just being silly.

It shouldn't take this long.

Screens for this model are readily available. It seems a little odd. I'd get in touch with who ever has it and see what is going on.
