help screen unresponsive...is it broken?

so i dropped my iphone from waist height accidentally and it was working fine... until i noticed a fade blue spot on my screen. everything worked fine for about a week and one morning all of a sudden my screen wasnt responding to my touch, it wasnt sliding and often freezing once inside. i opened it up then removed the ribbon cables, then reattached it, it worked fine for about a couple of hours then the same problem appeared. so i noticed if i applyed pressure on the screen top right it would work, until the screen turns off, then it becomes unresponsive. I opened it up again and i seen a video saying that it might be the logic board, it told me to bend my phone forward, as i did so. i bent it while my screen was on and off (about 6 times). now my screen doesnt work at all and theres gay bars horizontal on it. i wanted to know is the screen lcd broken (ribbon cable or inside) or did i break the logic board where the ribbon attach? help because i am phoneless and i dont want to waste money on a lcd that may not be the problem!!!

Bending the phone will not help to resolve anything. If the IC chip is damaged bending it will not help, if the IC chip is bad the only way to fix the phone is to resolder a new IC chip. Now with the bending the phone is the frame still straight? I would try a new screen, make sure you check the connectors for any damage. Attach the new screen and see what happens!! Make sure to go slow and apply heat to those parts with adhesvive to get them apart without causing damage. Be careful watching those utube videos, those phones have been taken a part many times and they make it look easy just go slow.
