No Power at all

I have no power to my MacBook Pro. No light on the Magsafe power supply 85W and brand new, replaced battery, and left i/o board. I think the only thing left is replacing the logic board. I have even tried resetting the SMC. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. I know my old power supply was fried as I tested it on another MacBook Pro and I haven't put the old left i/o board back in to see if the replacement is bad, so I should do that first..unless there is another suggestion. I am concerned that there is no light on the new power supply either.

The first thing I would do is hook up the new power adapter to the machine you know works and see if it does.

The mains problem I have had one this model is the left I/O board failing. It handles so many functions that it is hard to find a fully working replacement part. It handles battery functions, some video functions, air port. The supplier really has to know his stuff because even the cable connections are different on different models. (one being male on the board the other being female.) So parts are not interchangeable between models. The battery connector board also fails on this model. It's not an easy diagnostic to get it running. You may get everything running fine then see you have no airport. Don't go cheap on the part and make sure of their return policy!
