No power on, no magsafe lights, no charge

Hi all, have scoured for answers but can't find what I'm looking for. Our a1342 quit out of the blue the other day, and battery was not charged at the time. Noticed magsafe not lit up. Haven't been able to restart since then.

AC power is good, have two different adapters, both passing good volts.

I pulled the dcin board, plugged in ac power, checked voltage at the connector, its passing proper volts, lights are not on.

I've got 3.4v at G3hot with ac plugged in.

Have attempted SMC reset.

Have tried jumping the power pads.

I'm getting voltage at the battery connector pins on the board, 3.4v at pins 4 and 6 from left and 11.3v at pins 7, 8 and 9 from left.

Battery has probably reached end of service life, but we were still getting a good 1.5hrs on a full charge before this event.

My question is, if the lights are not working on connector, does it indicate dcin board is toast and needs to be replaced or are lights not coming on because of something wrong with motherboard? Should magsafe lights come on if dcin board is disconnected from motherboard and AC plugged in?

I just ordered a new dcin board from ifixit and we'll see what happens next week.

Answer this question I have this problem too

the dc in board came yesterday, I swapped it with the old one and computer powers up. Battery is funky now though. Time for a new one. And the magsafe connector is being slightly finicky as well. But I can deal with that. Thanks to ifixit, love this site.
