MacBook won't start up

Hi, my late 2007 Macbook won't start up, after the '10 second method', the fan started turning... however, there are no screen nor there are any LED lights.

I switched the RAM, did the same 10 second method, the same, only fan but no screen nor LED lights.

Any advance method to help solve this issue?

Thank you so much in advance.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi John

If you plug in an external monitor do you get anything on that?

It could be one of two things, an screen issue or a logic board issue.

If you haven't already, do a PRAM reset and see if that makes a difference.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi Martin,

Thank you for the tip.

I tried both connection to external monitor as well as reset PRAM, both failed.

I guess what's left is to change the logic board...

Anyway, Thank you so much for your advice. :)
