New instalment of lcd and digitiser problem

Upon installation of a new lcd and digitiser on an ipad mini 2 there seems to be a problem with the lcd touching the Base of the digitizer.

It doesn't happen straight away but over a few hours with no usage of unit.

It seems to be in the middle of the display, and nowhere near the edges.

I've changed the digitizer twice, thinking it was that, but it's still happening.

Installation had zero issues, and I've taken it out twice, but it's still happening.

Please help.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Probably not enough adhesive between the digitizer and the LCD.

I would suspect something pushing it out since it's in the middle, like a swollen battery.

I did check that. The battery seems fine. Sits flat etc. It happens a good few hours after installation.

I've purchased another lcd to check if it was that.

you might be dealing with it being bad adhesive or you're getting non genuine digitizers. if it is bad adhesive, apply your own CLEAR adhesive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree it's not a genuine digitizer but an aftermarket one. I've used aftermarket ones before, with no problems what so ever.

The adhesive hols the screen in fine though. There's no lifting or movement.
