2012 GMC Sierra SLE: Auxillary roof mounted lamp

I have the plow package on this truck, with a switch on the upper control console. I found the two wires to connect to my led lights on my back rack, but cannot understand why I don't have any power going to the wires?? is there something that i have to connect under the hood to achieve power to my lights?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Check out this pdf file. Specifically page SP-15 and SP-17. The switch you are using is already wired to a particular harness in the header of your cab. Use the brown wire for power and the black wire for ground. If you cannot get power at those wires, check fuse SEO 3 in the Underhood Electrical Center. Hope this helps.
